The return of links-a-lot

Yay for the South Beach Diet. I have lost 6.6 lbs. in 12 days! I am impressed with this diet and how easy it is to follow. I was even able to eat out twice yesterday! We have learned a new way of cooking and have been able to try new recipes that we might not have tried if we were not on the diet. People have even been telling me that they can see that I have more energy. And....I even wore a skirt yesterday! Yes, a skirt. Me who never wears a skirt! It is so crazy how only a few pounds can make such a difference.

I have decided that I am going to do the knitting olympics. I am a little nervous that I won't get done because I really do want t medal. I am making the shawl over there in the sidebar. A nice little knit-a-long by Piddleloop. It will be a fun challenge even if I don't get it finished. I am using some nice marroon colored yarn from my SP6.

Oooooo I just have to share.....some friends of mine have a Weimaraner who recently had 10 puppies. These friends also set up a webcam so people can check in on them throughout the day. It is all live action and sooooo addicting!

The amazing things that people come up with these days.

And the alarm clock that would drive us all nuts!

One more. This woman is amazing (so is this entire site), she just makes me want to go buy a bunch of fun do-dads and get to work being crafty, making the books like I used to always do. I am going to try really hard to get some craftiness in this weekend!

In response to my secret pal's comments: I would think it would be okay to have a candy treat on this diet if it is from you. Have I told you how I have a secret love affair with Reese's peanut butter hearts, trees, pumpkins, etc.? It's true, mmmmm my mouth is watering just thinking about them. Also I will try really hard to remember to take a picture of the little kid sweater that I am currently knitting and some other fun projects that I have done.

Ok I had a little too much fun at the store so DON'T buy any candy until you get my package - which I hope to have mailed tomorrow or early next week!!! Thanks for posting - I love it!

Oh ok - one more thing.... I told my boss at the store I work at part time that I was going to sew myself a skirt -- AND SHE LAUGHTED!! Not because of my sewing (which is why she should of gotten a chuckle) but because she said she couldn't picture me in a skirt...

I might need to wear one soon too!
