Went to a wedding this past weekend and so far I think we are right on target with ours, I don't think that there is anything we have forgotten yet. This couple was lucky enough to have their pictures taken down on the football field.
My honey looked hot in his tux too! I have pictures to share but our home computer is a bit slow.
Mailed a package to my secret pal this week, hopefully it will get there in time for her birthday. I had made her some mix cds but sealed up the box before I remembered to put them in.
I have my bridal shower and bachelorette party tomorrow. I have been promised a wild and crazy time. It's been a while since I have gone out so this should be interesting. All of my bridesmaids will be able to come so I am excited about that.
Here is a SP question:
Someone has stolen your stash and all your books: now what are you going to do?
Probably cry, though not too terribly hard since it is summer (is that sad?!). It is hard for me to get motivated to knit in the summer when the temperature and humidity is high. It is also hard for me to work on my knitting and try and plan my wedding and assist others with theirs. So much to do, but at this current moment I would rather be knitting than preparing for weddings! I think I would mostly miss my books, I love my knitting books, Knitting Pretty is my favorite and it is just that, pretty. I would also miss my purple chunky yarn that I have been holding onto for some time now, waiting for the right project.

What would be the first thing you'd replace? What would you live without?
As stated above I would replace my books and chunky yarn first. Oh and my set of interchangable circular needles that I got for Christmas. I could live without the ugly yarn I inherited from a friend's dead grandma, it's hard to part with yarn, even grandma yarn.

Enough for now, I will update next week after my parties!

Busy, busy, busy. My calendar has meetings/events on it for every day this week! Scheduled for tonight is premarital counseling. I don't care for it that much, it is hard sharing personal issues with a guy you don't even know. Tomorrow is rehearsal dinner and Saturday is a wedding. It will be nice going to the wedding to see if it triggers anything that I have forgotten for my own.

I have been working like mad trying to get my invitations done. They are nearing completion with have of them already in envelopes and ready to go to the post office. I ran out of paper which is why the other half is not done, never fear though I am hoping to have them all ready to go out on Monday!
I have been also working on a guestbook for my future sister-in-law's wedding that is in a couple of weeks. kind of a pain to be working on that and trying to get stuff done for my own wedding but oh well.
I discovered a new yarn store a month ago and finally had a few minutes to go in this past week. It is super cute!!!! I would love to work there, yarn galore! I didn't buy anything for me but I did get something special for my secret pal!!! I will have to go back and treat myself sometime.
Leaving you with a picture of my clost. This is what your closet looks like when it is trying to tell you that you buy too many shoes:

Thanks Secret Pal!!!!

I got my first package from my secret pal and I loved it!!!!!!! It was a nice surprise when I came got home from my weekend away. She is so great, I love everything in it!!!! I got some tea, double pointed needles (which rock hard core!), 3 different kinds of yarn to add to my collection, and a few other things. I seriously LOVED it!!!!! I love that it isn't from America too! I love international surprises!!!!!
I did get to work on my afghan a little this weekend while I was staying at my mom's house. I don't think I ever posted a picture of that, will have to do that soon.
My first bridal shower was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I got a lot of stuff that we can use, mostly all kitchen stuff.
I have been trying to decide on a dress for a couple of summer weddings that I have to go to and a dress for my rehearsal dinner. wanna help me choose?
