Oh it sure has been a while hasn't it.
Wedding planning update:
We now officially have a florist! Yay! And she is half the price of the first lady I met with! Here are pictures of what the bouquets will look like (minus the weeds on picture 2):













I have been on the south beach diet for 2 months now and have lost nearly 20lbs! Today I am wearing jeans that I thought fit when I bought them (didn't try them on at the store) but they didn't and they are stretch like my other jeans! I was so excited when I put them on this morning! Yippie for skinny jeans!!! I can't tell you how much I love this way of eating. It has made us so aware of what we put in our bodies, it was a whole lot of junk before.
Katie, you have really inspired me with your book. I admire how you are always creating, such will power and your end product is always wonderful! Check out her book here. You are a wonderful artist!

Went and saw Wilco last night. They always put on a good show. I love me some Wilco.











I am really at a loss for blog words these days, just don't know what to tell y'all. I can tell you that I gained 2.2lbs since yesterday, that made me sad this morning. My goal today is to get in my 64 oz. of water, I can say that part of the cause might be the lack of going to the gym this week. I sprained my ankle on Friday chasing the dog around the yard. I heard a pop, felt a lot of pain and curse words came spilling out of my mouth. My ankle swelled up and bruised and I didn't sleep well that night because of it. Saturday I could hardly get out of bed. I refused to go to the doctor b/c I didn't want to pay for the emergency visit. The swelling has gone down but it still hurts a little.
I have been trying to work on some artwork but find myself feeling stumped. I am working on some pieces that include black and white pictures of my grandparents when they were growning up. You could probably classify them as scrapbook layouts but instead of putting them in a scrapbook I will frame them instead. I haven't decided yet if I will keep them or give them to my grandparents for their 50th anniversary in May. I will post pictures when they are done. In the mean time here are a couple of my grandma that I am using:

I want this book soooooo badly!!!!

I picked up my wedding dress this weekend and the south beach diet is paying off b/c my dress is too big! It laces up the back and the girl at the shop couldn't even do that, she had to clip it together. Here look:

Check out our crazy dog. She hates the gentle leader she has to wear on her walks. This is her at the end of our walk every day.

Sanibel, Florida was great! We rented bikes one day and biked all over the island and to the beach. We also drove down to the Everglades and got to ride on an airboat which was way cool!









This weekend I am going to go pick up my wedding dress!!! yay!!!

I leave for Sanibel, Florida tomorrow and I am soooo excited!!!!!
In wedding news our cake stand and cake cutter arrived recently and we got toasting flutes from his parents. And.........my dress is in!!!!!!! Yahoo!!!
In Penny news: Earlier in the week I sorted laundry but didn't have time to do it all. I came home from work one day to hear from M that Penny had drug a pair of my dirty underroos into the living room and was chewing on them!!! Gross!!! The next day she left a pile of chewed up ink pen. We discovered she is teething which is why she is chewy. M was also brushing her the other day since she has been shedding like crazy and he gave her a bald spot!!!
Oh, and did I mention I leave in about 24 hrs. for Florida?!
